Dublin Gulch is a historic mining site/ghost town in the tiny community of Shoshone, California. This mining site sits in a shallow canyon or gulch just off the main highway through Shoshone.
While abandoned mining sites are not unusual at all in this desert region of California and Nevada, what is unique about Dublin Gulch is that miners once lived in caves that were carved into cliffs - and the caves are still there to this day.
